About Us

 Whiteaker Printmakers resides in the Cox Cannery in Eugene's eclectic Whiteaker neighborhood. Our interconnected studios provide 3000 square feet of well-ventilated workspace with high ceilings, lots of natural light, and plenty of parking.

Our equipment accommodates a variety of printmaking techniques including etching, woodcut, screenprint, letterpress, and stone lithography. Please take a look at the growing list of presses and other equipment available at the studio. We provide many inks and supplies for communal use and offer plate materials for sale at cost. Our studio work environment supports the latest in sustainable, non-toxic printmaking practices.

The WhitPrint studio was opened in 2015 by Heather and Paul Halpern. Heather, an artist and printmaker, was motivated by the desire to do printmaking. Paul was motivated by the desire to get Heather's presses out of the garage. In 2017 the Halperns formed Fine Arts Brigade, the non-profit organization that now operates as Whiteaker Printmakers.

The success of WhitPrint can be credited to all the printmakers, artists, galleries, and other community members who have not only shared our vision but joined us, supported us, partnered with us, and donated to us over the years.
